Water medication is becoming more popular with better water systems in place and a growing market of soluble products.
Administering medication to pigs via drinking water is a stress-free and rapid option if group treatment is indicated.
The most common group of medication used in water are antimicrobials, but also vaccines, anti-inflammatories, probiotics, electrolytes and acidifiers can be given via water.
