Action for you and the pig industry
Garth supported the British pig industry on 3rd March in London outside Downing Street demonstrating for fairer prices of British high welfare pork.
Hundreds of pig producers from all over the country and people from allied industries demonstrated including some celebrities like Christine Hamilton, Liz McClarnon and Sharron Davies. The East Yorkshire MP Greg Knight was also present listening to the concerns about poor prices for pork at a time when feed prices are extremely high.
The rally got good press coverage and BBC Look North interviewed our clients Vicky and Kate Morgan. At the time when Riki was (freezing and) singing with the crowd ‘Stand by my ham’ and ‘Piggy, piggy cheap cheap’, Ian was handing over the petition and meeting the MPs.
